Eutectic Corporation U.S.A. opened a new CastoLab® Services and Training Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the 29th of June 2009. The new professionally staffed facility provides wear protection solutions to industrial customers in the United States.
The workshop is fully-equipped with heavy duty, high capacity equipment making it an ideal resource for our partners in the construction, cement, steel, quarrying, power generation and other high-load high-wear industries.
Capabilities include welding, brazing, thermal spray, twin arc wire and plasma transferred arc services as well as wear plate and pipe overlay (Castotube®) production.

A number of tailor made investments enable the Austrian CastoLab to strengthen its position as regional market leader in the engineering and production of finished wearfaced parts. Since March 2009 a new high end waterjet cutting device is linked in synergic operation with the CDP wear plate production and the fully automated GAP and Teromatec welding installations.
Thus an improved level in maintaining and protecting costly machinery of our customers can be achieved.
Since July 2009 the scope of services has been further extended with the possibility of highly efficient on site wearfacing of vertical roller mills whether in cement or steel industry or thermal power plants.
